TNA Stars Speak Out On UK Tour

An annual highlight for British wrestling fans, TNA's yearly tours of the UK play before rapid, sell-out crowds. Announcing an update to the upcoming line-up, the promotion revealed Jeff Hardy would not be travelling. The current reigning TNA World Champion will instead be replaced on all shows by Sting, with an injury being cited as the reason why. Outside of storyline, probation rules stemming from Hardy's much-publicised legal troubles actually disallow him from leaving North America, which comes as quite a blow to the tour.

Speaking during a recent interview, Frankie Kazarian and Christopher Daniels (collectively known as Bad Influence) told the Ministry Of Slam wrestling radio show how much the annual tours mean to the company, and how excited they are about coming over.

"It's clear that the UK fans love Impact Wrestling. Any time the company has been in the UK, we have amazing turnouts and the fans are ravenous and ready. Our numbers are great, as far as television viewership in the UK, and I personally wish we could come over there more often. I hope that our tours increase to maybe two or three per year, because it's so much fun. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming tour", Kazarian told MOS.

"The last few years, that January tour of the UK has been one of the highpoints of the Impact Wrestling schedule. Not just for us, the wrestlers, but also for the fans. I look forward to it every single year, and this one will be no exception. In fact, this tour may be the best one yet; we're taking in Ireland, Scotland and England, so it'll be a chance to show just how great TNA is to a wide variety of people", Christopher Daniels said.
