DDP: We Can Rebuild Scott Hall
The life of Scott Hall has been under the microscope numerous times. A 2011 documentary by ESPN exposed a younger generation of fans to Hall's daily battle with drugs and alcohol, leading many to peer through cracks in their fingers whilst they wondered how the former-Razor Ramon in the WWF/WWE could fall from grace so mightily.
Revealing during the documentary that his problems stretch back further than his wrestling career, Hall has also been arrested on a number of occasions for offences relating to second degree murder (Hall wrestled a gun from another man and shot him outside a nightclub in 1983, but charges were dropped due to lack of evidence) and for various disorders whilst intoxicated.
Impressed by the work Diamond Dallas Page has done with another ex-wrestler, Jake “The Snake” Roberts – who has lost 65lbs of weight since starting a yoga program with DDP), Hall elected to get in touch to see if Page could help him out too.
Now living with Page and Roberts, Hall needs $80,000 for replacement hip surgery. Turning to fans, Page says he wants to help rebuild “the bad guy” and raise the funds to pay for the surgery. This is where the fans come in. Video is embedded below with more details.
To pledge a donation, please visit indiegogo.com/projects/we-can-rebuild-him. Fans that donate $3,500 will be flown in to the "Accountability Crib", and will be able to meet Scott and either DDP or Jake "The Snake" Roberts and stay the night in the house. Only ten of these packages will be given out. Fans that donate $30 will receive a call from Hall.
