FSM Exclusive Announcement: Southside Wrestling

Fighting Spirit Magazine is delighted to exclusively announce a major match-up for Southside Wrestling's October 27 Third Anniversary Show, as El Ligero will face "Ego Dragon" Martin Kirby in a Steel Cage match.

The contest was brought about after yet another altercation between Ligero and Kirby at Southside's July 27 event, "The Big Bump Theory", during which the pair had to be restrained by officials and fellow wrestlers. There will no holding back on October 27, however, with this cage match designed to end the bitter feud once and for all.

"Southside Wrestling Entertainment has spoken at length to both El Ligero and Martin Kirby following the events at the weekend, where both men had to be pulled apart by staff repeatedly," read a statement to FSM. "Both men feel the feud is not finished, and are demanding one more match after the indecision that followed their I Quit match at Notorious 3.

"Management has thus decided that to end the feud once and for all, there will be one more match at the Anniversary show. This will be an unsanctioned Steel Cage match, which will be their final encounter.

"Furthermore, at Menace II Society III, both men will be signing a contract agreeing to no physical contact before the cage match. If either man fails to keep to that agreement, the cage match will be cancelled."

Southside Wrestling's Third Anniversary Show will take place on October 27 at The Priory Centre, High Street, St Neots. Doors open at 4.45pm.
