WWE aiming to revolutionise TV experience with new streaming Network
If you are currently a fan of WWE, or were a fan of WCW, ECW, or the World Wrestling Federation, the company behind Raw and Smackdown just made your dreams come true.
Beginning on February 24, WWE is launching an online streaming service, consisting of a "live" channel and a huge video-on-demand library. Although the service will not air the aforementioned Raw and Smackdown on the same day as Sky Sports, the programmes - as well as WWE Main Event, which does not air in the UK - will be available shortly thereafter.
What the Network does offer, however, is access to every WWE, WCW, and ECW pay-per-view in history, including every forthcoming live pay-per-view from WWE. This means that you'll be able to watch the likes of WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series either live or on demand as part of the Network. Other content will include episodes of WCW Monday Nitro, WWE DVD and Blu-ray releases, and reality TV shows such as Legends' House.
The Network, priced at $9.99, is not currently scheduled to be available in the UK until 2015, but for further information on how to access it in the UK on the U.S launch-date, pick up your print copy of Fighting Spirit Magazine from WHSmiths or Easons in the UK and Ireland, or the digital edition for iPhone/iPad and Android from the App Store and Google Play.
