Hogan and The Rock met just once in a singles match, billed as "Icon vs. Icon" at WrestleMania X8 in 2002. According to Hogan's own account, a backstage conversation with The Rock changed the match's rehearsed finish on the night.
The archive's own report on that decision, based on an interview with Hogan, is restored at Hulk Hogan: "I Changed The Rock Match On The Fly".
