Intercontinental Champion going in, and the winner
Billed as The Ultimate Challenge, their WrestleMania VI match at Toronto's SkyDome in 1990 put the WWF Championship and the Intercontinental Championship on the line in the same bout. Warrior won, and the torch-passing finish remains one of the most replayed moments of the era. The 1998 WCW rematch at Halloween Havoc is remembered rather less fondly.
The archive's shoot interview with Warrior, covering his diet, training and the story behind his logo, is restored atWarrior's World. Hogan's own account of changing a WrestleMania finish is atHulk Hogan: "I Changed The Rock Match On The Fly".
